Gospel Of The Grace Of God

You are a sinner:

Romans 3:10-12 (KJV) – “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”

Romans 3:23 (KJV) – “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

Romans 5:12 (KJV) – “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”

The punishment for sinners is eternity in the lake of fire:

Hebrews 9:27 (KJV) – “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”

Romans 6:23 (KJV) – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Revelation 21:8 (KJV) – “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Over 2000 years ago, God sent his only begotten Son to give himself as a sacrifice for our sins, he died, was buried, and rose again the third day.

Romans 5:8 (KJV) – “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

1 Peter 3:18 (KJV) – “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.”

Jesus Christ came to call sinners to repentance:

Mark 2:17 (KJV) – “When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

2 Corinthians 7:10 (KJV) – “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.”

Jesus is the only way:

John 14:6 (KJV) – “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Acts 4:12
(KJV) – “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

What must I do to be saved?

Some might say that your good works will outweigh your bad works, or if you am good enough, you will be saved

Salvation is not by your works:

Romans 4:4-5 (KJV) – “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) – “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Realize that you are a sinner:

1 Timothy 1:15 (KJV) – “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.”

Put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and his finished work on the cross:

Romans 3:26-28 (KJV) – “To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.”

Romans 5:1-2 (KJV) – “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

Call upon the name of the Lord:

Romans 10:9-10 (KJV) – “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Romans 10:13 (KJV) – “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
